The Qiu lab presented at AGU fall meeting in Washington, D.C.
The lab presented recent research at AGU fall meeting from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13 in Washington, D.C. Hanshi presented a poster at the phenology session, entitled “Remotely sensed canopy nutrients regulate spatial variations of fall senescence across the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) sites”. . Xiaolu gave a talk at the same session, entitled “Growing Season Land-Atmosphere Coupling Alters the Relationships between Spring Onset and Fall Senescence”. Yu had a poster at the biodiversity session, entitled “Functional Diversity as a Predictor of Ecosystem Functions: Evidence from Imaging Spectroscopy”. Tong gave two talks, one invited talk at the phenology session, entitled “Bridging Phenological Modeling Across Scales: Effects of Species Interaction, Spatial Correlation, and Habitat Characteristics”. Another talk was at the NASA biodiversity session, entitled “Habitat and Traits mediate vertebrate consumers’ responses to climate change: Insights from LiDAR and Hyperspectral Remote Sensing”.
